Dewatering Bags

Also called Filtering Bags, bulk bags with open-woven-treads are utilized in the Water Treatment Industry and Sewer Control to remove liquids from mud, slurry, and other wet products. This ventilated fabrics permit air and vapors to escape.

Manufacturing

Our bags are manufactured from 100% recyclable coated (1.0 mil. polypropylene used for moisture control and product contaminant protection) or uncoated woven polypropylene materials. Fabrics are treated for ultraviolet resistance for limited outside storage and are engineered for the rated capacity and performance required. FIBCs are available with a variety of spouts, tops, bottoms, straps, liners and other special features.

Certified FIBCs have a design Safety Factor (SF) or Safe Working Load (SWL) of 6:1 (six times the maximum permissible net mass).

Testing & Certification

To insure proper product performance, our FIBCs are commonly tested utilizing different criteria that includes drop-impact, stacking, tearing, top lift, tipping, sifting, static, bridging, vibration and bottom lift.
